ECOM Awards Grant
Grounds for Health is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a two-year $75,000 grant from the ECOM Foundation. The funding will enable Grounds for Health to further deepen existing cervical cancer prevention programs, services and training in Nicaragua while expanding its program into Peru.
The ECOM Foundation, created in 2006, has been a strong supporter of the work of Grounds for Health since its beginnings. August Burns, Executive Director of Grounds for Health praises the ECOM Foundation for their generous and consistent support. “ECOM is a true partner to the work of Grounds for Health. Their financial support is augmented by their invaluable direct assistance when we are traveling in producing communities. We are proud and grateful to have such an engaged and committed partner in this work.”
Flavor and Fragrance Specialty Program Launched
Flavor and Fragrance Specialty, long time major supporter of Grounds for Health, has taken their support to the trades. They have created a multi-tiered cause-based marketing opportunity for their customers to share in supporting the work of Grounds for Health. When purchasing one of three specially created coffee flavors (created by FFS to reflect the “flavors” of the three countries in which Grounds for Health currently has programs: Mexico, Nicaragua and Tanzania), FFS will donate 15% of sales revenue to Grounds for Health. Flavor customers get to add the GFH logo to their packaging and take advantage of a wide-range of GFH-themed marketing materials at no additional cost to them. These retail facing materials will increase consumer awareness while generating loyalty and support for participating roasters and retailers.
Call 800-998-4337 or email FFSBrewingChange@ffs.com to participate.
