National Cervical Health Awareness Month

January is National Cervical Health Awareness Month. Over the last few weeks, you may have heard public service announcements on the radio or read blogs and newspaper articles about the cervical cancer, encouraging women to get early screening for the disease.

We can’t stress enough the seriousness of the cervical cancer issue — particularly for women in developing countries and who have no access to regular, early screening. It’s our passion and our work … For us, every month is cervical health awareness month. But, we’re doing something about it. And we look forward to bringing you stories about our successes and challenges from the our campaign sites in Tanzania, Mexico, and Nicaragua.
