About the Challenge: If we can raise $200,000 by December 31, 2017, we will receive an additional $200,000. These funds would go a long way to ensuring our continued success in 2018 and beyond.

Kenya / Ethiopia Trips

We’re going on two trips to East Africa in January 2018. The first will be led by Clinical Consultant Susan Hollinger as she heads to Kenya early in the month. She will be running a training with Program Coordinator Evah Maina on thermocoagulation, which is a burgeoning treatment method that has exciting potential.

Kenya Successes + Next Steps

Later in January, Clinical Director Ellen Starr and Administrative Manager Kathy Hollandsworth are traveling to Kenya and Ethiopia to meet our newest in-country staff and do some quality assurance work. It’s always great to meet face-to-face with our amazing local staff. Plus it will be Kathy’s first trip to origin. Exciting stuff!
