Grounds for Health Wins NCA Origin Charity of the Year!

We are excited to announce that Grounds for Health has won the inaugural NCA Origin Charity of the Year!

The National Coffee Association’s Coffee Gives Back program rewards US nonprofits making a positive difference in coffee communities. The annual award celebrates a nonprofit organization that has demonstrated strategic, innovative and implementation excellence.

We are truly honored to be recognized for our work in preventing cervical cancer in the coffee lands. We’ve been delivering our life-saving care to women in Latin American and East Africa since 1996, and expect to reach 100,000 women screened by the end of the year.

We’ll continue to lead the way in cervical cancer prevention services in the coffee lands. The need is real, the solution is possible.

Thank you to NCA for selecting us over two worthy candidates–Coffeelands Trust, a project of the Polus Center for Social & Economic Development, and The Coffee Trust. We’d also like to thank Mother Parker’s Tea & Coffee for generously sponsoring the 2018 award.
