Photo Gallery – Reunion Island Fundraiser – Toronto – December ’09
In December, Adam Pesce of Toronto-based roaster Reunion Island Coffee decided he would use his creativity to raise awareness and funding for Grounds for Health. He talked to a few friends in Toronto’s art community, and in just two weeks, managed to recruit 15 Toronto artists to create art out of coffee cups. He then organized a party to bring people together and auction off the artwork, donating all proceeds to Grounds for Health.
The event raised over $3500, brought together some of Toronto’s most creative minds, and started something that everyone hopes will become an annual event.
Many thanks to Adam and all who were involved!
