Customer & staff engagement
We know that customers are more likely to visit businesses that give back to their community. Women are the backbone of the coffee industry — representing 70% of the labor picking and sorting the beans. You have the opportunity to educate your staff and customers around sustainable development and how to make the coffee industry better for growers and producers.
National exposure
You will join a community of coffee shops across the country who believe in farmers’ health at origin. You will be featured on our website and will benefit from our national press campaign. We will feature what was raised and celebrate your hard work at the end of the week!
It’s accessible and easy to join in
Our registration fee is $50 per shop and this includes all of the materials you need to tell the story of Grounds for Health. It is your decision how you want to raise funds that week – for example: through customer engagement, sale of a specific coffee drink, rounding up, percentage of sales, or an event. Please reach out if you have other ideas.
You decide how you want to fundraise during GfH Week.
It could be a percentage of sales, the amount sold of a specific coffee drink or by hosting a small event.
Register and receive your GfH Week marketing kit. It includes everything you need to fundraise for GFH and will inspire your customers! There is an option for digital materials only – for folks who do not have a storefront.

“I’ve been in the coffee game for over 16 years and coffee roasting for over 6 years. I am a freelance studio artist as well and live by a mission statement: I’m created to create; I’m created to allow people to see reality and resonate.
The best part of roasting coffee is creating new profiles which requires me to research the coffee before roasting so I give respect where respect is due. Being part of GfH Week this year through creating artwork is a privilege and a honor.
I don’t understand what the women in Kenya go through because I’m not a woman… but to create a piece to help others pay attention goes back to my life mission statement.”
A digital media kit is provided to all registrants, including social posts and fun facts about GfH.
FAQ: I don’t have a storefront – can I still participate?
Yes, of course! You can register for our digital media kit only. See registration page.
