5 Donors. 20 Lots of Amazing Green Coffee. 1 Day for Charity

Since 1996, Grounds for Health has worked in Latin America and Africa to address one of the most significant disparities in women’s health globally.
Cervical cancer is a nearly 100% treatable disease, and yet in the next 15 years it could kill almost 4.5 million women – 85% of whom will live in developing countries.
We specialize in working in communities that represent the base of global supply chains such as coffee, tea, cut flowers and cocoa.

In developing countries, cervical cancer kills more women than any other cancer. Over 80% of women newly diagnosed with cervical cancer live in these countries. Most have never been screened; many are diagnosed too late for recovery.
Cervical cancer is one of the easiest cancers to detect, treat, and cure when caught early. If every woman were screened just once in her lifetime, global cervical cancer rates would drop by 30%; screened twice, rates drop by 60%.
Women in developing nations are no more susceptible to the disease than their sisters in the first world. They simply do not have access to screening and treatment.
It’s time we stand up and do something.
We are proud to announce that longtime Leadership Circle supporter MONIN has pledged to increase awareness and generate support for our work through the sale of its Roasted Hazelnut Syrup. Proceeds from this popular and delicious flavoring will be donated to Grounds for Health to help deliver important health care services to women living in coffee-growing communities.
If you are a coffee roaster or retailer, ask your distributor about this new flavoring … and if you’re a coffee lover, try some Roasted Hazelnut in your next latte and sip easy knowing you are supporting our work!
Cervical cancer is a preventable disease.
