Sustaining Donors

Ongoing funding for greater impact

We truly appreciate the incredible generosity from participants in our Sustaining Donor Programs! Sustaining Donors are supporters who make a multi-year commitment to underwrite our work.

We rely on these ongoing commitments to plan ahead and expand our programs, knowing that we have reliable funding for our activities. Both Anchor and Patron Sustainers are valued partners in our initiative to end cervical cancer once and for all.

Sustaining Anchor Donors

Sustaining Anchor Donors contribute $25,000+ annually over multiple consecutive years.
Anchor Donors represent our most generous and critical supporters.

Casey Blanchard & Dan Cox

Grounds for Health Co-Founder Dan Cox has been a longtime Anchor Donor with his wife Casey Blanchard and through his company Coffee Enterprises. Located in Hinesburg, Vermont, Coffee Enterprises is an independent lab dedicated to quality analysis of coffee.

Descamex

Descamex opened the first coffee decaffeination plant in central America in 1980. The company responded immediately and with enthusiasm to our invitation to join the Anchor Donor program back in 2018, having been supporters of our green coffee auctions for years.

Royal Coffee Inc

Royal Coffee Inc in Emeryville CA got its start by purchasing and selling a single bag of green coffee and are now pre-eminent specialty green coffee importers. This family-owned and operated company is a business with heart, having been generous supporters of Grounds for Health for over 15 years.

Royal New York

Royal New York is a specialty coffee and tea importing company in South Plainfield, NJ that believes that women everywhere deserve access to life-saving healthcare services. They’re the strong silent types – supporting our work for years without expecting any fanfare.

Sustaining Major Donors

Sustaining Major Donors contribute at least $10,000 annually over multiple consecutive years.

Dean’s Beans Organic Coffee, founded by Dean Cycon, is based on ethical business practices that will have a meaningful impact on the lives of the farmers. Thus we weren’t surprised when Dean came to us with the offer to become a Sustaining Donor for our work in Ethiopia. Dean’s contributions over the years have brought us to the place we are now – introducing HPV self-sampling in Sidama, Ethiopia.

La Colombe, specialty coffee roaster and retailer, became a Sustaining Donor last year as part of Todd and J.P. ‘s simple but ambitious mission: to make the world better through coffee. Not only did La Colombe offer a generous donation but they specified that they’d like it to be a recurring annual donation – the kind of gift that allows us to most efficiently plan our activities.

Monin Gourmet Flavored Syrups made a commitment years ago to support their local and business communities, both in FL where they are based and in the international coffee communities that help generate their market. In addition to their generous Sustaining Donor support for our programs, the Monin team provides an annual raffle basket for the Grounds for Health booth at the Specialty Coffee Expo.

Reunion Coffee Roasters has been a long term supporter of GfH through its cause marketing efforts (thanks to Bullet Espresso!) as well as its donations to our green coffee auctions. Recently, Reunion, guided by Adam Pesce who serves on our Board of Directors, decided to formalize its giving and became a Sustaining Donor.
